This is a large stone circle from the late Jomon period (about 4,000 years ago) located in Oyu, Kazuno City. There are two double-structure stone circles on the plateau: the Manza Stone Circle (maximum diameter 52meters) and the Nonakado Stone Circle (maximum diameter 44meters). They are made by arranging stones from a nearby riverbed in a circle. There is a sundial-shaped group of stones inside the stone circle, and it is thought to be a kind of sundial because the sun sets on the summer solstice. It is thought to be a large cemetery because grave goods such as clay figurines and ritual tools have been discovered. It was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2021.
