Osaka is a prefecture located in the Kinki region of Honshu, Japan. Its capital is Osaka City, and it has the second largest economy in Japan after Tokyo. With a history dating back to the ancient period, the prefecture has continued to thrive as a water city. The entire prefecture has a Seto Inland Sea climate, with warm temperatures throughout the year. Many industries are headquartered in Osaka, and together with nearby Kobe and Kyoto, it forms the Kyoto-Hanshin(Osaka and Kobe) metropolitan area, which together form one of the world's largest economic zones. And then, Osaka is also known as the kitchen of the world, and there are many gourmet spots.
